Stunning pair of very large french altar candlesticks. These are made from brass with a heavy wooden internal base which has some historic woodworm. The candleholder at the top is a different size on each as one has been replaced at some point. There are also some dents and bashes over the candlesticks from many years of use but these just add character. A very unusual and beautiful pair of candlesticks.

Dimensions - height to rim 81cm, height of candle posts 9cm and 7cm, base diameter 18.5cm
